Services and Fees
 

I am a qualified and experienced person centred counsellor and supervisor of counsellors.  I have worked in private practice in Sussex since 2013, and moved to Cambridgeshire in 2022. I have worked with young people as a school counsellor, and spent 5 years working as a counsellor in a local GP's surgery.  I have taught for many years in a children's secure unit, as well as worked for a charity which supported victims and survivors of domestic abuse.

I offer counselling on an individual basis, either in person or via zoom.  I am available for supervision of qualified person-centred counsellors or counsellors in training.  I am also qualified as an EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing) practitioner.  This type of therapy is often use in the treatment of Trauma, Phobias and Addictions.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and I am fully insured to work as a counsellor and as a supervisor of counsellors as well as an EMDR therapist.

I work under the ethical framework of BACP and this can be found on the BACP website www.bacp.co.uk/ethical framework.

I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and I store my data in compliance with their guidelines.

I am cleared to work with children and vulnerable adults by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Fees

£50 per hour for individual counselling - Longer sessions by individual arrangement

£45 per hour/£60 per 90 minutes for supervision

£35 per hour for counsellors in training (for supervision and for counselling)

Concessions are available for low income clients and can be discussed on an individual basis

I respectfully request payment in advance via bank transfer for sessions held online, and by card or cash for clients who are seen in person.
